Introducing Circles of Support – Gawler & Victor Harbor

Community Living Project is going on the road in February, hosting workshops to introduce people to Circles of Support.

A Circle of Support is a group of people who are intentionally invited to come together in friendship and support of a child or adult who has a disability, for the purposes of protecting the person’s interests into the future. Circles of Support are underpinned by principles of inclusion.

Circles of Support – a safeguard in the lives of vulnerable people

Morning sessions are open to Support Coordinators, LAC & NDIA planners, service providers, other community members, people with disability, their family and allies. Afternoon workshops follow on for people with disability, their families and allies.

The Introducing Circles of Support Project has been funded by a 2-year grant from the Norman H Johns Trust through the Perpetual 2020 IMPACT Philanthropy Application Program (IPAP).

*Workshops introducing Microenterprise are also being presented at these locations. Also look out for dates for these workshops coming to metro Adelaide and further regions in 2021.
