Support Worker and Community Engagement role in Panorama

Are you looking for a meaningful, and rewarding role supporting someone in local community? Do you find peace in nature – and photography? Love travel? Or have an ear for music?

I am a middle-aged man who lives and works in the Panorama area of Adelaide. I am looking for the right person to work with me, both in my home, and out and about in my community.

I am passionate about photography (I took the photo for this ad), cooking, travel, and music. I am also interested in exploring local opportunities and developing social connections and networks around each of my interests.

I am seeking someone with shared interests, who enjoy going for walks in nature and has a good understanding of technology – to work flexibly up to 14 hours a fortnight.

Specifically, I am looking for someone to work with me 2-3 mornings a week; 6am-8am – and 4 hours on Saturday, fortnightly.

If you’re a glass half full kind of person, who practices positive thinking; is energetic and enthusiastic – but also patient and a good listener. I’d love to hear from you!

Experience with vision impairment would be great, but it is not required. Wages will be paid at AWARD rates – and ongoing training will be provided.

All applicants should be prepared to undertake an NDIS Worker Check and Senior First Aid training. Additionally, a current driver’s licence and a car for use for work purposes are required.

If you think you could be the right person, please apply by email to Max Coleman at [email protected] using the subject line: Support Worker and Community Engagement role in Panorama – Expression of Interest.

Applications will close 12 September 2021, however I will recruit before then if I find the right person.
