Joanne Cottle

Board member

Joanne Cottle is an experienced finance and corporate services executive with over 20 years’ expertise spanning professional services, commerce, and the not-for-profit sector. As Executive Manager, Finance and Corporate Services at Carers SA, she leads finance, ICT, procurement, data, service coordination and risk management functions, advising the CEO, Board and Executive Team. She is recognised for driving organisational sustainability, strengthening governance frameworks, and delivering innovative systems and processes. A Fellow Chartered Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Joanne brings deep expertise in strategy, risk, and financial stewardship. 

Joanne is driven by a deep commitment to improving outcomes for people living with disability and those who care for them. She values integrity, collaboration and innovation in leadership, and is passionate about building sustainable, well-governed organisations that deliver meaningful impact.

Having supported her mother following a spinal stroke in 2023, Joanne brings both professional and personal insight into the challenges faced by people with disability and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys contributing to community organisations and spending time with her family.
