I am a woman in my 60s who lives in my own home in Ascot Park. I am looking for the right person to assist me in my home and out in my community for 10-15 hours a week. I love my home and garden, playing and listening to music, swimming at Marion Pool, shopping, eating out and finding new cafes to try.
I need assistance to make many decisions and organize the events of my daily life. The right person to help me with this will be a good listener who can acknowledge and respect my choices.
My family are incredibly important to me, and we will work closely with them to help me live a purposeful life in my community and to build my competencies and valued roles. Growing my social network will happen through knowing and embracing my gifts, interests, and skills.
This role also involves providing personal care and household tasks including laundry, meal preparation/cooking, cleaning and shopping support to live a healthy and holistic lifestyle.
The successful applicant will be young at heart but mature, outgoing, patient, and confident. They will share some of my interests and work with me to live the life I choose.
Hours
I am looking for someone to work approximately 16 hours per week who also has good flexibility across a 7-day pw roster to cover for other team members as needed, including passive overnights. Each of the following is a required shift for the role:
- Tuesday 8 am to 2 pm
- Thursday 12 pm to 6 pm
- Friday 4 pm to 8 pm
Remuneration and Training
Wages will be paid at level 2.1 Casual base rate (currently $40.26 per hour) and ongoing training will be provided. Salary Packaging may become available as your role grows.

All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain:
- A current NDIS worker check
- Medication management training
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- First Aid Certificate
