Community Networker- Casual role in Hackham

I’m a woman in my 40’s who lives with my partner in Hackham. I am a lover of op shopping to find a bargain, visiting my local markets, classic cars and pottering in the garden.

I am seeking a person with significant work and life experience who can bring creative thinking to a support role. My support workers will need to walk alongside me and understand the importance of building a trusted relationship.

I would like to develop social connections through my interests in my local community. The right person will be a natural socialiser, patient, gentle, mature, good sense of humour, takes time to listen and has the ability to step back and allow me to take the lead when I am feeling comfortable.

The role will also involve assisting me with community connection, household duties, cooking, shopping and coordinating my appointments and transport. The worker would liaise with my support team and network to deliver assistance in line with my vision for a good life.

The role requires flexibility and availability with the opportunity of 6-12 hours each week.  You need to be available Thursdays from 8:30am-3:00pm with an opportunity to work Tuesdays.  Availability to work other days when required would be an advantage.

As a CLP employee, the role commences at level 2.1 casual rate of $40.26 per hour (penalty rates apply).

Ongoing training and direction will be provided.
