Micro Enterprise – a career option to consider for people with disability
Thursday February 11, 2021, from 9.30am at the Terrace Function Centre, Gawler Racecourse
When people first meet, one of the questions asked is usually; “So What Do You Do?” We seek to give people a great answer to that question. Watch this short video on micro enterprise to find out more.
Circles of Support – a safeguard in the lives of vulnerable people
Friday February 12, 2021, from 9.30am at the Terrace Function Centre, Gawler Racecourse
A Circle of Support is a group of people who are intentionally invited to come together in friendship and support of a child or adult who has a disability, for the purposes of protecting the person’s interests into the future. Circles of Support are underpinned by principles of inclusion. Watch this short video on the relationships to find out more.
Sessions are open to Support Coordinators, LAC & NDIA planners, service providers, other community members, people with disability, their family and allies.
*look out for dates for these workshops coming to metro Adelaide and further regions in 2021.
