New Support worker position available – Plympton


“My name is Flick, I am 39 years old and I live with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. I use an electric wheelchair for mobility and an augmented communication device to communicate. I own my own unit in Plympton and I love to get out for a coffee and be social.”

We are looking for a new support worker to join Flick’s team. We are looking for someone with the flexibility and availability to support Flick as required to the needs of the Roster. The position is on a casual basis. Flick has received funding for approximately 13 hours of support per day, 7 days a week which are split into day and night shifts. Support workers provide 1:1 support to Flick which includes assistance in all aspects of daily life including, personal care, domestic assistance, transport, and social support.

You must have or be willing to obtain Senior First Aid, Manual Handling and a current NDIS worker check. Orientation, medication, and PEG training will be provided.
